Authenticator Set Up from Phone

If you are trying to log into the Measured app, you will need an Authenticator app to be able to do so. Measured suggests you use Google Authenticator as this is our preferred app. You will need to download this app from the app store on your mobile device.

If you are logging in from a computer desktop, open the authenticator app you have chosen to use and select “+” or “Add”. This will then give you the option to Enter a setup Key OR Scan a QR Code. Select “Scan QR Code” and you will simply be able to scan the QR code on your screen with your mobile phone’s camera to establish the Authenticator account.

Then simply type the code into the the space that indicates “Enter your one-time code* (as shown below). For security reasons, Measured requires you to provide the one time use code each time you login to keep your data safe. You will only need to scan the QR code one time to set up the initial connection.

If you are attempting to log into the Measured platform from your mobile device for the first time and establish the initial connection between measured and your preferred authenticator app, you will not be able to scan the QR code and instead you should select “Trouble Scanning?”, outlined in red below.

This link will take you to the following screen at which point you can copy the code:

Once you have copied the code, navigate to your preferred authentication app and select the “+” or “Add” option.

Select “Enter a setup key” and paste the key into the “Your key” section. Name the connection as you wish and proceed to add the connection. You will then use the one time in the Measured login to proceed to login to your account.
